KYLE WILLIAM, 27
Ocala - Kyle William Vandeven, 27, of Ocala, Florida passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016. Kyle was born and raised in Ocala. He graduated from Forest High School in 2006 and while at FHS Kyle played both football and baseball. He worked for Hamlet Construction with his father. Kyle loved life and especially anything to do with the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved to go mudding in his truck (which usually was torn up by the time he was done). Kyle was a great young man who was always surrounded by loving family and friends, which gave him the greatest joy in life. He was a member of the Church of Hope.
Kyle is survived by his parents, Terry Yarbrough and Harvey & Nancy Vandeven; sisters, Kristen (Andrew) Johnson and Shannon (Matthew) Musatow; brother, Carson Vandeven; nieces, Abby & Kayleigh; nephew, Mason; grandparents, Ray & Willine Yarbrough, Yvonne Vankempen, and William & Cathy Vandeven; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfather, Adrian Vankempen.
A service will be held to celebrate Kyle's life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Church of Hope, 3233 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala. The family will begin receiving friends at 5:00 pm and the service will be at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Rob McCoy Foundation, 44 SE 1st Ave, Suite 309, Ocala FL 34471. Online condolences may be sent at

Deepest condolences. Kyle was a fine young man. Our work paths crossed many times during the past years. I can say that Kyle was always respectful and very polite to me. His family was often a topic of conversation. He loved you all.

Harvey ... We never knew back in 2006 when you were so very kind to us while our son was stationed in Iraq .. And then killed by an IED at the age of 22, that you would join the club that we wish on no other parent !! We are sorry for your loss and as you know ... We know how you feel !!!
It changes your life forever .... Hold on the God .. It seems to effect your health ... God can help you as you walk the path of grief ... It's been 10 years for us this May 25th ... There are no words to say ... Just cling to God and your family !! Time heals all wounds .. But this is a child .. Not a wound !! Trust us .. It does get better !
We think of our son daily !
We are not in Ocala anymore .... We do put an ad in the paper every 5 years to honor our son ... Kyle was a nice young man ... I got to meet him and talk with him at your office ...
