Darlene Kamka 68, Pulaski, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013. She was born on Jan. 19, 1945. in Oconto. to the late Raymond and Doris (Hanes) Frewerd Sr. She graduated from Oconto High School in 1963. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Grover; worked at Cruisers Yachts for many years and loved camping and country music festivals.
Survivors include her husband. Roger; one daughter, Sherrie (Scott Edgerton) Strabel; one stepson, Kevin (Maureen) Kamp; three grandsons, Brandon (Megan), Dustin and Mitchell Dakins; five step-grandchildren Jonathon, Chelsea, Nicole, Tristin and Jamie; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane Dansereau; five brothers, Gary (Virginia) Freward, Raymond (Linda) Frewerd Jr., Richard Frewerd, Mike Frewerd, Marc (Jennifer) Frewerd; two brothers-in-law, Vilas (Sharon) Kamka and Jerry Deschaine; one sister-in-law, Jan (Bruce) Netzer, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two infant children, John Raymond and Marie; one brother, Larry; one son-in-law, Darrel Strabel; one stepdaughter, Nicole Reiter Kamka; two stepsons Mark and Troy Kamka; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Deschaine; and her father and mother-in-law, William and Martha Kamka. The family greeted relatives and friends from 9:30 to noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, N1904 Church Rd Peshtigo, WI 54157 (715-582-3439). Memorial Service was at noon Oct. 5, 2013, at the Church with Pastor Charles Learman officiating. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto is assisting the family.
