Rabe-Dalton, Shad A.
The Guest Book is expired.
Shad A. Rabe-Dalton, 19, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, June 11, 2013 as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was born February 2, 1994 in Green Bay to Craig Rabe and Sara Dalton. Shad lived in Green Bay and moved to Oconto Falls in the sixth grade where he attended public schools. Shad was currently working for Robert McDermid Auto Salvage &Towing.
As the oldest grandchild, Shad was a born leader who didn't mind taking risks, he was always very protective of his family and loved the outdoors riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles and raced dune buggies. As a young man who seemed to show no fear, we realize now he couldn't have lived so full and complete a life nor know how far he could go had he not done so. Shad made the most of his 19 years and his family will cherish and remember his bigger than life personality which he shared with all. Shad lived well, laughed often and loved much!
Survivors are his parents, Craig and Heather Rabe, Oconto Falls; Sara Dalton and Jeremiah Bartol, Green Bay; his siblings, Tori, Anna, Kari, Brady and Destiny; paternal grandparents, Carol and Kevin Gunderson, Pulcifer; Lynn and Gary Phillips, Sobieski; maternal grandparents, Robert and Lynn Dalton, Green Bay; two aunts, Kellie (Daryl) Nooyen, Michelle (Peter) Wainio; one uncle, Robert (Jenny) Dalton Jr.; seven special cousins and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great grandparents.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm Friday, June 14, 2013 at Hillside Assembly of God Church, 5920 State Hwy. 22, Gillett. Visitation will continue after 9:30am Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the church until the time of service. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Saturday with Pastor Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Green Bay.
The Rabe and Dalton families would like to thank all the first responders and all those who helped at the scene of Shad's accident.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund will be established.
