Mary Smith Obituary
Mary Alice Smith, 82, passed from this earth, with her daughters by her side, into the loving arms of her Lord on December 21, 2016.
Mary was a devoted and loving mother to Cheryl (Rob) Ackley and Christine (Don) DeArmond; and a beloved grandma to her most precious grandchildren, Michelle and Kyle Ackley, Donny, Derek, Bryce, and Dayne DeArmond. She also leaves behind to cherish her life, two sisters, Delores (Keele) Smith, Carol Bowman, and brother, Frank (Jan) Harr, several nieces, nephews, and close friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Sylvester Harr; brothers, Kenneth (Margie) Robert (Jimmia Lee), Withrow (Janice) and sister, Elizabeth (Parren) Clatterbuck.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 in the Eastwood Church of the Brethren, 581 Darrow Rd., Akron, with Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. In lieu of flowers, please give to the charity of one's choice. Those wishing to sign Mary's online register book may do so at www.ebrightfuneralhome.com.
