Fred Boshara Obituary

Fred Boshara was born in Akron on September 17, 1926 and fell asleep in death on April 9, 2013. Fred served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was the owner of a local tavern. He was an active member of the United Saghbeen Society and was an avid golfer and woodworker.

He is survived by devoted and loving wife of 62 years, Phyllis (Salem); children, Lisa George, Paula (Ed) Rizk, Barbara (Gordon) Jones, Rick (Marianne) and Jay Boshara; brother, Ray (Elizabeth) Boshara; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church, 507 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., with Msgr. William Bonczewski officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Saghbeen Society or Our Lady of the Cedars Maronite Catholic Church.
