Ann M. Anderson, age 49, of Concord Twp. passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 5, 2013 at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Born February 21, 1963 in Akron, she had lived in Akron before moving to Concord Twp. 25 years ago. Mrs. Anderson was a second grade school teacher
at St. Mary of the Assumption School in Mentor for 15 years.
Survivors are her husband, James Anderson; children, Jonathan, Christopher and Meghan Anderson; mother, Frances Yahner of Stow; four sisters, Julie (Caryn Thornburg) Panis of Tracy, California, Mary (Joe) Hassing of Littleton, Colorado, Jean (Carl) Rakich of Medina and Catherine (David) Murdock of Akron; mother and father-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Anderson of Copley; two brothers-in-law, Mike (Chris) Anderson of Kenner, Louisiana and Rick (Cindi) Anderson of Monroe Falls. She is also survived by many other loving family members and friends and will be missed by her pomeranian "Poochie."
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Yahner and her brother Thomas Yahner.
A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. The family will receive friends from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor. Private family inurnment will be held in All Souls Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be made in memory of Ann M.
