Charles C. Cusack "Charlie"
STOW -- Charles Cusack, age 68, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 leaving behind his beloved wife, Mary (nee Miskalo) and beloved son, Sean. He also leaves brother, Ed (Barbara); sister, Marge (Bill) Fenchel; brother-in-law, Steve (Liz) Miskalo; nephews nieces and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Margaret (Schubert) Cusack; and brother Jesse Estlock.
Charlie worked 15 years for Ohio Bell with a break to honorably serve in the U.S. Army. In the 70's he went into the car business with Cusack's Classics in Mogadore and in 1982 took ownership of the Ford franchise in Ravenna and operated as Charlie Cusack Ford, retiring in 2007. His business approach was like his persona, laid back, honest and "your dealing with a friend". Anyone that knew Charlie would tell you of his big heart and that he would do anything for you but you'd have to put up with his funny stories and jokes. There were never bad moods or sad faces when Charlie was around, that is until today. He was loved by all and will be missed.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, 3333 Kent Rd. (at Rt. 91) in Stow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Church, 3179 Kent Rd. in Stow. My deepest sympathies to Mary and Sean. Charlie was a kind hearted man, and will be missed by everyone. I still remember having to go to the showroom when visiting my dad just to hear some of Charlie's jokes and to see what he did with the Darth Vader or Cowboy and tennis balls.

Charlie was a man who always showed concern and care for me and could turn gloom and doom into a good laugh just with a few words and witticisms. In the car business, he knew better than anyone what to say. One of my favorite people of all time. I was just going to call you. Will miss your presence greatly.

To the Cusack family;
I was a vendor at the Ford dealership and Charlie was more than a client, he was a friend. Very good man who never met a stranger. Fair and dignified. He will be missed and my condolences and prayers are with you.

Charlie was a surrogate father and grand father in our home for many years. He was not just an employer, he was a steadfast and loyal friend who would take care of his family no matter what, and he considered us all part of his family. Our hearts go out to Sean and Mary who will feel his loss deeper than we; we hope they know that just as Charlie considered us family, we do the same for them.

Charlie meant the world to me. I thought of him like a father. If you looked in the dictionary under "caring", his name would be there . I truely am blessed by God to have known him and I will truely miss him, but he will always have a place in my heart. God be with you Mr. Cusack. Sincerely, your friend Donald Cales.

To Charlie's Family,
I,m deeply saddened by Charlie's passing. Charlie and I grew up in the old "Norwood St./Ashland Ave." area of Cuyahoga Falls. Although I hadn't seen Charlie since those days back in the late 50's after we moved, I still heard about Charlie from time to time from others who knew him. He was always a happy guy and didn't have a bad word to say about anybody as we were growing up. I will always have great remembrances of him and I know he is now in a better place.
God Bless you all and may your memories of Charlie ease you sorrow.

Dear Cusack Family,
It is difficult to put into words how we feel hearing that one of the best has passed away.
Charlie was a really great man. Kind, honest, caring and generous. He was the best employer that Andy has ever worked for.
Everyone in our families feels the loss as well, because they "knew" Charlie from our talking about him.
Sincere condolences on your loss.
How lucky we all were to have had him touch our lives.
Rest in peace Charlie Cusack. You will be missed.
With deep admiration and heavy heart we say farewell.

Charlie, was quite the guy! As we think of him now still stunned by his passing, We can think of how he must be telling his jokes and selling wings to the angels.
He took great pride in Sean and Mary. I know he will be missed by many. I know we will be thinking of him often.

My son, John Scott Joeright, and I are very sorry for your loss.
My family will remember Charlie for his visits to my husband John Joeright when he was sick and dying of cancer. Charlie came to our home to visit with John and helped to make his day a little brighter. After John died at 68, Charlie stopped by many times to see John's son and try to help him as he was struggling with trying to run the business as well as managing his grief for his dad.
Charlie will be remembered by the Joeright family as a good man.

Mary and Sean,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. Charlie was an amazing man who never knew a stranger. He did more for my family than I can even begin to convey in words. I know that he and my dad are in heaven right now, probably playing jokes on their friends. You are both in my thoughts and prayers.
