Clifford E. Reardon, age 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family April 27, 2013.
Cliff was born and raised in Warren, Pennsylvania. During World War II
, he served three years in the U.S. Coast Guard as a machinist's mate. After the war, he moved to Akron, Ohio, until he married and moved to Tallmadge to raise a family. Cliff had two full-time careers working for General Tire 30 years, and Georgia Pacific for 25 years. After retirements, he moved to Edinburg, and pursued his gifted talents in carpentry and cabinet building. He also enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball, and bowling, in addition to spending time with his family as a devoted husband and father.
Cliff will be very deeply missed by his family: his loving wife for over 65 years, Marilyn; son, Clifford "Buster" (Martha) Reardon, Jr., of Tallmadge; daughters, Sharon (Eddie) Seeker of Brimfield, and Linda (Jim) Ditch of Gillette, Wyoming; grandchildren, Amy, Jamie, Adam, Andy, and Justin; great-grandchildren, Paxton, Graeme, Madison, Jackson, Alexa, Reese, and Maya.
Private services will be held Tuesday at The First Congregational Church of Tallmadge. 330-633-3350
