Edward B. Fletcher (aka Bethel E. Fletcher)

Edward B. Fletcher (aka Bethel E. Fletcher), 70, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, entered into Heaven on September 22, 2013, after a long battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sheena Marie; father, Steve Fletcher; stepfather, William Henry Pruitt; brothers, Raymond Turner, Donnie Pruitt, Barry Pruitt; and sister, Brenda Benz Azar. Survivors include his beloved wife, Shirley; precious daughter, Tracy Fletcher Davis (Bill) of Massillon; son, Sean Fletcher, U.S. Air Force, England; mother, Irene Arlene Pruitt of Cuyahoga Falls; brothers, Larry H. Pruitt (Tammy) of Clearwater, Fla., James Hess (Christine) of Shelbyville, Tenn.; and sister, Shirley Halliday (Gregg) of Akron. He also leaves his grandson, Garett Davis; granddaughter, Corrine Davis; a number of beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Vietnam War veteran, Eddie served his country as a proud member of the Army's 101st Screaming Eagles. He was a previous employee of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company and an owner-operator for North American Van Lines.
