Gary Rocco Ciccarone, 65, a lifetime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away January 6, 2013 after a battle with cancer.
Gary was born on October 20, 1947 in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1966. Gary served in the United States Navy
and retired from Morgan Adhesive. Gary enjoyed sports, especially football, watching westerns and talking to everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren when he could. During his time at Cardinal Village, he enjoyed participating in the city's holiday parades.
Gary was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Ciccarone; parents, Andrew and Marie Ciccarone; and his sister, Andrea Adam. Gary is survived by his daughter, Kara Ciccarone; grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah and Connor; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Ciccarone of Hinsdale, Ill.; brother-in-law, Vincent Adam; Aunt Madeline and Uncle Libert Bozzelli of Cuyahoga Falls, Aunt Ann Falasco of Akron, Aunt Julia Paonessa of Akron; nephews, Andrew (Nicole) Adam of Cuyahoga Falls and Thomas Adam of Charlottesville, Va.; numerous cousins, and friends at Cardinal Village.
A special thanks to his cousin Marlene Czetli for taking care of Gary while he was at Cardinal Village.
