James D. Pearson, 46, passed away after a long illness on March 8, 2013.
He was born in Akron and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, going on to attend Kent State University, majoring in graphic design. James was the founder of Pearson Design. He was an avid golfer, snowboarder and mountain bike rider.
Survived by son, Tanner; his mother, Melissa of Cincinnati; mother, Barbara (Robert) Watkins Zachea of Akron; father, James A. Pearson of Cuyahoga Falls; brother, John; sister, Julie (Chris Singel) Dunbar of Akron; special niece, Elise Dunbar.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mansour and Akron General Hospital.
Cremation has taken place after organ donation to Life Banc. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the West Side Church of Christ, 645 Revere Rd., Bath, OH, 44333. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be to the Partial Hospitalization Program at Akron General Hospital, 400 Wabash Ave., Akron, Oh, 44307.
