Joyce B. "Joe" Adkins

STOW -- Joyce B. (Joe) Adkins, 85, passed May 2, 2013.

Born in Branchland, W.Va., he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and had retired from Tecumseh Corrugated Box in 1984 with 15 years service.

Preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, one sister and grandchildren, Maggie Guinn and Daniel Adkins; he is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances; children, Scott, Margaret (Chuck) Guinn, Tammy (Pat) Sumego and Robert; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Holly Adkins.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m., where service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with military honors.
