He was past president and hall of fame member of the United Professional Horsemen's Association (UPHA). Lonnie and his family operated Richlon Farm of Sharon Center, Ohio from 1967-2006.
Achievements aside, Lonnie was an outstanding, multi-talented artist, not only with a horse, but with words, and with a guitar. He was not only the consummate entertainer and host, he was an amusing and sage advisor to anyone who asked and would listen. His recommendations and his way with words, both spoken and written, will long be remembered.
