Loretta E. Wallace, 88, passed away March 2, 2013.
She lived most of her life in Akron, graduating from North High School and Miami University. Loretta was an executive secretary at the B.F. Goodrich Company for 35 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of The Bath Church U.C.C., Woman's City Club and a charter member of Silver Lake Country Club where she enjoyed many years of golf, bridge and good friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Wallace; parents, Oscar and Bertha Hart; and brother, Glen Hart; she is survived by nephew, Jeffrey Hart and nieces, Sandra and Debra Hart; goddaughter, Sandra Keefer; and good friend, James Kaufman.
At Loretta's request, there will be no calling hours or memorial service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, Ohio 44087 or The Bath Church U.C.C., 3980 W. Bath Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333.
