Louis D. Morris, 94 years, passed away May 8, 2013.
He was born in Akron and was a resident of Uniontown. Louis served in World War II
and the Korean War
. He was the owner of the Firestone Dental Lab for 45 years and was a member of Nativity of the Lord Jesus Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by his wife, Frances; son, Ronald; brothers, Joe, Larry, Frank and Vincent; sisters, Rosemary, Mabel, Margaret and Lena; he is survived by sons, Kenneth (Shirley) and Walter (Bonnie); daughter-in-law, Beverly (Ronald) Morris; grandchildren, Jennifer Marshall, Natalie (Alex) McAninch, Greg (Jennifer) Morris, Mark (Joanna) Morris, Stephanie (John) Peric, Kathryn Morris and Dr. Jessica Morris; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Jake Marshall, Veronica McAninch, Vance Morris and Oliver Morris; and sister, Lucille Augustine.
Friends may call Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. N.W., UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 and Cleveland Avenue). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd., Akron, Ohio 44312, with Father David Halaiko celebrating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
