CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Robert A. Andrews, 94, passed away October 17, 2013.

Robert was born in Mount Solon, Va. to the late Alfred and Edna Hartman Andrews and lived in the Akron/ Cuyahoga Falls area most of his life. He enjoyed his morning coffee at McDonald's, loved gardening, working with wood, and going to the Ohio River. He also served in the US Army Air Corps in Panama during World War II.

Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his first wife, Jessie Andrews; second wife, Gertrude McCann-Andrews; sister, Maxine Andrews; and brother, Lawrence Andrews. He is survived by his brothers, Earl (Carol) Andrews of Akron, Dennis of Lillian, Alabama; sister-in-law, Helen Andrews of New Cumberland, W.Va.; special niece and loving caregiver, Christine (Joseph) Granata and their children, Tony (Andrea), Angelo, and Alysa who lovingly shared the experiences of three generations; and many other loving nieces and nephews. We wish a sincere thank you to nephew, Leonard (Emaline) Bolden and to Jessica Walters for their love and support.

Visitation hours will be Monday, October 21, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hennessy-Bagnoli-Moore Funeral Home, 936 N. Main St., Akron. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Robert's final resting place will be Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the or Hospice of Summa in Robert's name.
