William E. "Scooter" Bell

The world received a special gift on January 14th, 1968 in the person of William E. (Scooter) Bell.

A 1986 graduate of Firestone High School, Scooter attended The University of Akron and lived life to the fullest. He loved to help people as seen in his previous service to the U.S. Army, the City of Akron Fire Department. He also thoroughly enjoyed working in Sales, walking, grilling and spending quality time with family.

On February 1st 2013 at the age of 45, Scooter ended his journey here on earth and entered into eternal life.

Scooter was preceded in death by his father, William Bell. Leaving to cherish the memory of his laughter is his mother, Jeanetta (Charles) Stephenson; daughter, Taryn Bell (Wendy Wilson); sister, Janeen Bell; brother, Charles Stephenson Jr.; grandmother, Lillian L. Bailey; niece, Aarion Bell; nephews, Aaron Burton, Jason Moore; aunts, Annetta Farr (Columbus, Ohio), Pam Culp (Michigan); uncles, Travis (Chicago, Ill.), and Jimmy Dale Culp (Michigan); and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held in his honor Saturday, February 9th, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home; calling hour held one hour prior to service at 3:30 p.m., Pastor Raynell Lawson eulogizing. Condolences may be forwarded to 1932 Marks Avenue, Akron, Ohio 44305.
