Marianne Trumphour passed away September 10, 2013.
Born in Akron, Ohio on May 13, 1957, she lived in Akron her entire life. Marianne graduated from Firestone High School in 1975 and worked for the Water Department until her retirement. Marianne enjoyed being with her many friends and, most especially, with her family. She loved the family vacations to Wolf Lake, Mich., usually leading the way to get the bonfire going and enjoying a few beverages.
An avid athlete, Marianne lettered in several sports in high school. She had a keen wit and would enthusiastically engage anyone in conversation. Marianne enjoyed the company of her constant companion, her dog, Molly. An avid reader and movie enthusiast, she frequented the Shatto branch of the Akron Public Library.
Preceded in death by her parents, Laurine and Kendall Trumphour. Marianne is survived by her sisters and brother: Barb (Dan) D'Aurelio, Bev Winter, David Trumphour, Patty Lori, Karen (Pete) Butler, Chris (Dave) Baio and Sheryl (Greg) Bennett. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
