Donna Edmunds Obituary
Donna Gale Edmunds (Parsons), age 67, of Lakeland, Florida went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2014.
She was born August 5, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland, Fla.
Preceded in death by mother, Gale Croft; father, Karl Parsons; and brother, Karl Parsons. Survived by daughter, Amy (John) Dearie; grandchildren, Jesse, Abigale, Johnathan; brothers, Gary Parsons and Terry Parsons; extended family; and friends.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Cox Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton with Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

I loved your mom Amy. We talked about our plans of taking time together and visit and EAT after everything!!! She was precious and only another mom could know the depth of love she did have for her daughter and their little family. You are loved and lifted up before the Lord. Lynda

Amy, I will never forget when your mom took me to the aquarium in Tampa and to the beach when I visited you in Florida (while you were working). That was so sweet of her. We had a great time and she welcomed me into her home. I love you and I am so sorry for your loss. I pray GOD will give you strength, comfort and peace and fill your heart with JOY of all of the loving memories with your mom.

Aunt Donna, you made a sweet home-away-from-home for me as a child and I still remember my favorite dress of all time that you sewed for me in 6th grade. I owe my sewing/crafting/art career to your early lessons and I love you dearly. (I should have said that to you before...) Sending love to Amy and family as well.

I wish I could be there today. Our dear cousin had an infectious smile, a fun "far side" sense of humor, not to mention pure God given talent! What a blessed reunion she must be having with our Lord and family. Donna will be both greatly missed here and welcomed home in heaven!

"Beloved Cousin" Donna Gale you will always hold a special place in my heart. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood with you, that if it wasn't for you and your mommy, there's no telling what would've happened. Rest in peace.
