Was just thinking of you yesterday and how brilliant you were about everything music related. We spent hours on the phone talking music. Thanks for being my friend.

To the Beck family - I am very sorry for your loss. Pat was a dear friend of mine throughout my high school years and for many years thereafter. He might be gone physically but no one can take our memories from us. I hope it all gets easier for you. Take care of yourselves.

I had not been in contact with Pat for some time, but was saddened to hear of him passing. I will always remember Pat for his sense of humor (I can hear his laugh now!)and his kind heart. We shared many good times in high school and at KSU. I am thankful to have spent a few years in his company. It always brightened my day to see Pat Beck!

I'm so very sorry to hear of this loss. I worked with Pat at Quonset Hut for only a very short period of time, but I was fond of him. He was always nice to me, even though some others weren't. He was laid back and happy to be himself. He didn't have to put on airs or put others down, he was simply Pat. I'm sure there was much more to him than I ever had the opportunity to know and I'm probably the worse for not having been privy to that. I'm sure heaven is a happier place now that he is with them.

This comes as such a shock to everyone in the Quonset Hut family who knew and loved Pat for always being himself - and we'll never know another like him. Such humor and taste for rock'n'roll, he had.
More than anything, though, Pat will always be remembered for his good heart. His warmth is his legacy, and I consider myself fortunate to have enjoyed so many hours in his relaxed and accepting company.
My condolences to his other family and all those who knew him better; please know that Pat will always hold a special place in our hearts.
