Gretta Marion Kuglar, 78, passed away January 7, 2011.

``Dummy hand does the dishes.'

Always in control, Gretta Kuglar made her final contract with life like a seven no-trump hand and left the table.

Cuyahoga Falls Bridge won't quite be the same. She loved bridge all her life and was a Silver Life Master. Gretta introduced many novices to the game, including her family following Sunday afternoon dinners.

Surviving lung cancer for 43 years, she shared her vision of life with us though her courage, creativity, and her paintings with an inclination to turn any task into a full blown party.

A 1950 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School, she resided in Cuyahoga Falls her entire life.

She was preceded by the love of her youth, J.B. Worcester and the love of her life, Roy; as well as her siblings, Richard (Jean) Bee, Vivian Wood, Betty (Jay) Dunphy, and step-son, Kenneth Kuglar. She is survived by her siblings, Cloyde (Janet) Bee of Cuyahoga Falls, Larry (Idell) Bee of S.C., Vicky Lee of Florida, Clair (Peg) Bee of California; and her children, Pamela (David) Brown of New Hampshire, Dr. Bill (Karen) Kuglar of Minnesota, Gail Kuglar (Diana Julien) of Akron, Valerie (Kim) Vanlandingham of Indiana; step-daughter, Jackie Eisenhauer of Kent; 12 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff at VNS Hospice and special friends, Darcy Haynes and Judy Horn.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 10, in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, Rev.
