Wilda,
I am saddened to read of your mothers passing. Growing up on Grand Ave, living in the days of innocence, not knowing what out "world" was changing into. Your mother was so nice to me, even pierced my ears for me. I will never forget our days growing up, eating your moms peanut butter cookies, drinking homemade lemonade, and of course dancing to her Jackie Wilson album !!! I read your tribute to her, and it was quite emotional, lovely. Wilda, I will always remember you and your mom. Someday we will see each other again.
Love, Charlene
PS Every Nov 10 I wish you a Happy Birthday!!

Dearest Wilda and Family,
I'm praying for you all. I pray that you will each allow the God of all comfort to walk with you, be with you and lead you as you grieve the loss of your precious loved one. It will be different for each of you so I pray you will each allow the other to grieve as they need to. I pray that God will unite your hearts as one and strengthen the bonds of your relationships. Give your lives to Christ so that you may see precious Mother Dorothy again - that would really bring her joy!

What can I say? With my parents gone, she was my "go to". She poured her wisdom, humor, into my family and we are immensely greatful to have known her. What a happy time she's having now with the Father, probably has Jesus laughing!

Sister Dorothy was always an encouragement to me in words and in hugs. When she lifted me up in prayer through WWTIC Heart Lifters Ministry I always felt her encouragement through the added comments in the card mailed to me. The few times that I encountered her embraces they were always so warm and strong. She knew of a particular goal I was pursuing and reminded me to PUSH through. My heart aches and longs for her to still be here. I will missed that beautiful smile of hers. For the family of sister Dorothy, my prayers are with you at this time! What a beautiful Jewel Sister Dorothy was!

To my Mommie,
There was nothing more precious in my life to have a mother like you. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering an unconditional love. Through all of my lifes ups and downs, I know that your love for me never waivered, neither mine for you. You have gone on to be with the Lord and I will meet you there one day and we will once again be able to share in the love of the lord that you always shared with me. As I held your hand when God called you home and you said to me I love you Wilda, my heart ached because you had to go, but my heart is filled with joy knowing that you are with the Lord. I will always love you mommie and thank you again for your unconditional love.
Your daughter,
Wilda

Aunt Dorothy,
I say these words from all of us we love you with all our hearts. You loved everyone unconditionally. You helped us see the Lord though new eyes. I remember when we were small you use to take us to Bible school, see puppet shows, roller skating and afterward you would take us to the “Bunny” for dinner. Thank you for having such a beautiful heart and such a loving spirit; and showing us how much you loved the Lord. These words keep coming to me “Well done, thou good and faithful servant” because you were. All our lives we saw you lifting up the name of Jesus so with that in mind I truly know this statement is true about you “You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, and you have kept the faith; 2 Timothy 4:7
