To the family of Dr. Gingras,
34 years ago, when I was 19, Dr. Gingras helped me through the darkest time of my life when I was very sick.
He was a very kind and caring person with a professional integrity rarely found these days.
I am very sorry to learn of his passing, and will never forget him.

To Gerard's family -
What a privilege it was to have known Gerard. We met in tai chi class at the wellness center where I was working in 2001. A group of us met once a week before class to solve the problems of the world and to laugh at yet another one of his puns.
In addition, we spent many hours in the wellness center library discussing medical issues and philosophies of life. It was there that I learned what an educated, yet humble man he was.
May you find comfort in your memories now and in the days to come.

We were sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We worked together for many years at AGMC taking care of patients and discussing medical isssues. But it was our conversations on other wide ranging topics that were so stimulating and enjoyable. We will all miss him too. Fred Specht,MD
