John Naehring Obituary
John Thomas Naehring, 64, of Suffield, passed away October 20, 2014.
He was born in Akron on June 17, 1950 to the late Wilbur and Shirley Naehring. John graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1969 and spent his entire career as a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and raising chickens. For the past ten years, his passion was model airplanes and he was an active member of the Corsair Model Aircraft Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Miller and son-in-law, Jeffrey Sowash. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Teri (nee Dardenne) Naehring; children, Jennifer (William) Brown, Dawn (Daniel) Bethel, Jeffrey Naehring, Scott Naehring; sister, Suzan Miller; grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Caleb, Madelin; many other relatives and friends.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate John's life on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of VNS.

We are saddened by the loss of John. I will always remember how he took care of Charles when his hand was badly cut by the propeller and John rushed him to the hospital. He was a very good friend to Charles. Peace be with you, Teri and family.

Teri I am so sorry to hear of John death Shirlley Ann called and told me I live in Tn and my husband is out of town and I keep our great granddaughter during the week so I can't come I send all my love to you and family if you don't rember me I am aunt Mariand daughter
