E. Kmentt Obituary

E. Karl Kmentt

E. Karl Kmentt, age 86, of Concord Township, Ohio, passed away December 27, 2015 after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; sister, Elfrieda Lewis; and brother, Richard Kmentt.

Karl leaves behind, his daughter, Kimberly Kmentt of Littleton, Colo.; son, Dr. Bradley Kmentt; daughter-in-law, Diana; and grandchildren, Ashleigh and Michael of Kirtland, Ohio; his beloved dog Bogie; sister, Hildegarde (Curly) Thomas of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; brother, Waldemar Kmentt of North Carolina; and special nieces, Jean Farinacci of Cuyahoga Falls and Judy Taylor of South Carolina; and many other loving family and friends.

Karl was a native of Akron, Ohio and a lifelong employee of the General Electric Co. He was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns, an avid golfer and enjoyed many friendships as part of the Quail Hollow C.C. "Dawn Patrol." His only regret is NOT being able to vote against Hillary Clinton in the next presidential election.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karl's memory to the Lake Humane Society or to Hospice of the Western Reserve both in Mentor, Ohio. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11 a.m.
