Javanta D. Virden, 25, was born April 7, 1991, the proud and loving son of Temakia Mitchell and Rocky Virden. Javanta passed away suddenly on December 26, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Sommerville Funeral Services, 1695 Diagonal Road, Akron, OH 44320. Service will immediately follow. Repast food donations may be delivered on Tuesday, January 3, to the Laborer's Local #894, 720 Wolf Ledges Pkwy, Akron, OH 44311. Condolences may be sent to 305 Turner St., Akron, OH 44304.

Vonta I will miss u (fixing your car, buying you Tahitian treat and gummies, and lecturing you :-) I know you were a good kid trying to do the right things in life I just wish you had lived long enough to meet some of your goals. Those 2 sweet boys were lucky to have you in their life as was Neequa. My prayers are with them and your family (especially Barbara)

Javanta was my second nephew born, he was a gift to our family for 25 years, he loved kids and helped whenever you needed him. He will be missed by everyone who met him. Love you J-love.

Today my heart is very heavy as I offer my deepest condolences to the family of Vonte. I am really going to miss you and your silly ways, the crazy dances, and that smile. Thank you Vonte for being a Great loving daddy to my grandsons, they loved you so much,and you loved them back. The hardest thing I ever had to do was sit those two little boys down and tell them that you were in heaven. Rest in Peace Vonte! You light Heaven up with a that Smile!
