Robinson
Jerry Robinson, age 57, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2016.
He was the beloved son of James and Gloria Jean; loving brother of Diana Davies and the late James Robert and Kimberly Dawn; uncle of Danielle J. Davies; beloved nephew and cousin of many; best friend of many.
Friends may call at THE FERFOLIA FUNERAL HOME, 356 WEST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), SAGAMORE HILLS FOR VISITATION ON THURSDAY, FROM 6 to 8 P.M. OR FRIDAY, FROM 2 to 4 AND 6 to 8 P.M. OR AT THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF MACEDONIA, 1280 EAST AURORA RD. (OH RT 82), MACEDONIA ON SATURDAY, FROM 10 to 11 A.M. Jerry's funeral services will immediately follow visitation on Saturday at 11 a.m. at church. Memorial contributions are suggested in his name to the United Methodist Church of Macedonia at the above address, The Macedonia Firefighters Association, 9691 Valley View Road, Macedonia, OH 44056, or Pawsibilities, The Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, OH 44087. 330-467-4500

To the entire Robinson family. I am so tremendously sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. I luckily had the pleasure to know this sweet, funny, gentle man. No words can take the pain away that you are all feeling but please know that you have so many people that loved your brother, son, uncle, friend.... He will be missed terribly! I will always remember and can still hear clear as day in my head his silly baby voice he would do when he would play with my dogs or when I dropped them off when we went out of town.. It was always the same voice and the same nicknames.. "My little cooper, pooper as he rubbed his head" and "my shugga wugga"..... Jer, you were a great man and are now a great angel... Rest in peace my friend.

To Mr. and Mrs. Robinson and Diana Davies,
Robert & I send our most deep felt sympathies and condolences. Unfortunately, we did not have the pleasure of meeting Jerry but Diana (our very good neighbor and good friend) would talk about her brother in the highest regards. Robert did have the pleasure of hanging the beautiful bird house that Jerry gave Diana at the front of her home where we all gather around and have wonderful conversations.

I always remember Jerry's big smile and anytime I saw him he was in good spirits. He will be missed but never forgotten. As well, all these years later I still occasionally think of his and Diana's brother Jimmy too - both Jerry and Jimmy taken too soon. My prayers go out to Diana and to Mr. and Mrs. Robinson.

Just wanted to share a memory of Jerry...we used to live on Rehwinkle and Jerry walked me home from a day party (off South Boyden). Shows what a caring and considerate person we have lost on this earth. God Bless!

I can not believe that we have lost such a great man. My prayers are with his family and friends at such a sad time. I can still hear his voice in the halls calling my name that he gave me " hi Stan" I was so blessed to have known him. I am sadden that I can not be here for his services but I will be out of town. May God bless him and his family.
Jer, may you rest in peace. The heavens have gained one hell of an angel....

To Jer's family,
I am so saddened by your loss. I haven't seen Jerry since high school - but - I will never forget that infectious smile always with a twinkle in his eyes. Jer was one of those guys who got along with everyone on both "sides of the aisle". I wanted you to know I remember him with great fondness - such a good person. Prayers for you all that you will have some peace through the next few days.

My condolences to James, Gloria, and Diana. I'm not sure if you'll remember me but I was one of Jerry's best friends as a child. We had lost touch after high school but were kind of reunited again when he pulled a friends boat down to Florida a few years back. Jerry was a noble and caring person who the world will surely miss.
