Johnnie Criss Obituary
Johnnie Rae Criss (Phillips), 52, another beautiful life taken too soon by heroin on July 20, 2016.
Johnnie will not be defined by her addiction, but rather by the many years of loving life and living it to the fullest as a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend.
She is met on the other side by her father, Johnny Lee Phillips. She was joined in death just two days later by her husband, Robert L. Criss, also of an overdose.
Johnnie leaves behind, her mother, Marcella Phillips; sons, Jessy (Nicole) Rockwell and Jim James; daughter, Rebecca (Mark) Price; granddaughters, Kassidy, Devon, and Haley; grandsons, Talon and Bentley; sisters, Diana, Margie and April; brothers, Charles and Harold; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
"Don't judge me until you know me.
Don't underestimate me until you challenge me.
Don't talk about me until you talk to me."
A private cremation has taken place for close family members.
