Thomas Sams Obituary
Thomas E. Sams passed away unexpectedly on March 17, 2017.
He was a lifetime resident of the Akron Community. He was preceded in death by his father,
Thomas Sams. He leaves to forever cherish his loving memory his son, Trevon Thomas Sams Jr. (Megan); his mother, Phenecia Curry: and his sisters, LeTessa Sams-Dawson (Damon) and Tianna Sams; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101 Palmetto Ave. Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Rev. John Hosea, officiating. Interment will be held at Glendale Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 757 McKinley Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306.

I wish I could have seen you before you left. I wish I could have heard your voice again. I wish I could have had the chance to Hug you and say I Love You Bro! So sorry to hear of Moochie's passing. I'm sure he was a good person with a big heart. Although I only met him once,Erica would talk about him and how giving he was and I could tell he was a great man. Please know you are in my thoughts, in my prayers and I am here if you need anything.

My heart dropped when I heard the news. Your brothers departure was truly unexpected and I'm so sorry for the family's loss. Moochie was loved and respected by everyone who knew and met him. I'm glad I had a chance to know him. He will be miss tremendously. From my family, we know that nothing can take away the pain that you all are feeling right now, but we just want all of you to know that we're thinking of you and wishing you strength and courage as you deal with so much grief in this difficult time.
