Obituary Condolences

On Jan. 31, Charles S. Adams, 71, passed away surrounded by family and friends at Cuyahoga Falls Hospital.

Charles was born April 21, 1934, to Joseph and Veda Adams, of Adams Flowers in Stow, Ohio. Chuck was multi-revered and talented in truck driving, mechanics, tire man, and mechanical drafting. He was a member of the Orioles, Civitan, Converted Coach Owners, and the Flexible International Owners.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Veda; his brother, John; and his wife, M. Jane Adams (Bond), Chuck is survived by brother, Joe (Sally); sons, Daniel (Rebecca), David (Joan), and Michael (Rhonda) Adams; grandchildren, Daniel (Michelle), Paul, Christina, Amanda, and Tyler Adams; great-grandchildren, Melodie, Arianna, and Atley Adams; and his girlfriend of 14 years, Josephine Smith and her family.

Well known by many friends and past co-workers of the trucking industry, Chuck will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Charles" sons.

Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, 4 p.m., at Adams Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E. Market St., Akron, where friends and family may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service, Rev. Jim Roma officiating. (Adams-Mason, 330-535-9186.)
