Charles William "Bill" Draper Obituary
Charles William (Bill) Draper peacefully passed into eternal life on April 8, while at home, lovingly surrounded by family.

Born in Lewisville, Ohio on September 20, 1929 to the late J. Arnold and Gertrude Draper, Bill moved to Greentown in 1942 and joined Greentown United Methodist Church where he was an active member for 71 years. After graduating from Greentown High School with honors in 1947, he served his country in the U.S. Army.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Clara; twin sons, Richard (Demmie) Draper of Uniontown and Robert (Sue) Draper of Westlake; and daughter, Patti Francis of Hudson. Additionally, Bill is survived by seven grandchildren, Jason, Joseph (Danielle), Paul and Katie Draper, Rachel (Jeff) Young, Elizabeth and Laura Francis; sister, Mary Ellen (Jack) Beyer and two sets of twin brothers, Gene "Jim" (Glenda) and Glen (Carol) and Myron (Sandy) and Byron Draper; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A long-time resident of North Canton, Bill retired in 1989 from the banking industry and remained active in the community by volunteering with SCORE and Aultman's stroke support group. He was a member of the Stark County Retired Executives, International Order of Odd Fellows--Hadassah Lodge #450, North Industry Sportsmen's Club, Greentown Over 60's, and the Lake Grange. He actively participated in Aultman Hospital's Cardiac Rehab program recently marking 2000 visits to the gym. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He will be long remembered for his commitment to his family and his passion for economics and politics.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 in the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW) from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Lodge Service at 5:45 p.m. Additional calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Greentown United Methodist Church, 3088 State St. NW Uniontown, Ohio 44685, from 10 to 11 a.m., with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Joseph Santomen and Pastor Phil Haverstock officiating. Burial will follow at the Greentown Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to Greentown United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
