Earl Eugene "Ace" Casey Jr. Obituary
Earl Eugene, Casey, Jr., "Ace", surrounded by family and friends, passed peacefully in his home on Thursday, November 29, 2012.

Born January 12, 1946, in Covington., Ky., Ace was a graduate of the Simon Kenton High School, Class of 1964, and proudly served as a member of The United States Army, Military Police Honor Guard, from 1967 to 1968. He enjoyed a long career and retired from The Ohio Department of Liquor Control in Akron, Ohio. After retiring, he moved to Wheeling, W.Va., where he spent time with his beloved family and friends. Throughout his life, he had a strong passion for hot rods and classic automobiles, and could often be found in his Garage Mahal, working on his many Sunbeams.

Ace was preceded in death by his father, Earl Eugene Casey, Sr. He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Nancy Elizabeth Schenk Casey; his mother, Juanita Hammons Drake of Covington, Ky.; a son, Justin Schenk Casey of Berkeley, Calif.; a daughter, Sara Elizabeth Yanko of Akron, Ohio; a brother, Allen Brent Casey of Covington, Ky.; and his unborn grandson, Casey Victor Yanko.

Friends will be received at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, on Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m., with Pastor Paul Schafer officiating.
