Elbert Roach Obituary

SHARON TWP. -- Elbert E. Roach, 84, of Sharon Twp., passed away Monday, October 24, 2011.

He was born on September 8, 1927 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Vern and Laura Roach.

Mr. Roach was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sharon Center and was a Draftsman and Spec. Writer for the Ohio Injector and later retired from Ohio Pipe and Supply.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Louella McCollom and brother, Glendon Roach. Elbert is survived by his wife, Margaret ``Peg' Roach with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage; one son, Rex (Karen) Roach of Seville; two daughters, Luann (Mark) Van Deusen of Wadsworth and Rene' (Dale) Puskas of Fairfield, Calif. There are seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Nathan, Heather, Carrie, Russell, Matthew and Trent; eight great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Gaynelle Demeter, Eileen Farnsworth, Rita Chapman and Darlene Spies; and numerous nieces and nephews also surviving.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m to 12 Noon Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6462 Ridge Rd., Sharon Center, where funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon with Pastor Judy McGuire officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church Sharing Center, 6462 Ridge Rd., P.O. Box 120, Sharon Center, OH 44274.
