Faye E. Blakeman Yoskey, 92, passed away August 16, 2012. Born August 15, 1920 in South Webster, Ohio, to Otto and Clara Shump, she moved to Akron in 1945 and was the owner of her own beauty shop "Golden Touch" for many years.
Faye was preceded in death by her husbands, Vaughn Blakeman and Frank Yoskey; and brothers, Ray and Jim. She is survived by her children, Donna Hampton, Shirley Cooper, Dennis (Nedra) Blakeman, Deanna (Robert) Atkinson, and David Blakeman; brother, Howard Shump; grandchildren, Robert Atkinson II, Desirae (Mark) Rimer, Scott Cooper, Michael (Amy) Cooper, Rob (Nikki) Hampton, and Michael Hampton; 12 great-grandchildren; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Faye lived a long life and brought joy to everyone who knew her.
Our family would like to extend a Special Thank You to Lorantffy Care Center. They provided more than just personal care for our mother, they were her extended Family.
Visitation Tuesday, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Hecker Funeral Home in Uniontown, where funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Deacon Frank Lonteen officiating. Burial Hillside Memorial Park. Hecker 330 699-2600.
