Frank Charles Zeffer, 57, of Norton, Ohio, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, March 01, 2013.|
Frank was born on June 30, 1955 in Wadsworth and attended Wadsworth High School. A lifelong mechanic, Frank started and opened Zeffer's Automotive (1998) in his hometown of Wadsworth and it has continued to be a mainstay in automotive repair in the Wadsworth area for the past 14 years. Besides his expertise in automotive repair, Frank's interests included: playing golf, motorcycles, NASCAR racing, and spending time with friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steven and Helen Zeffer, and Edward and Rose Brunski, as well as his favorite dog Magoo.
Frank is survived by his loving companion and business partner, Ruthann Poder; his son, Michael Zeffer (Heather) of Creston, Ohio, his daughter, Kristy (Steve) West of Peyton, Colo.; his parents, Frank "Pops" and Rose Zeffer of Wadsworth; siblings, Linda (Frank) Fotta of Tipp City, Ohio, Sharon McCoy (Brad) of Wadsworth, Oho, and Mike (Cheryl) Zeffer of White Settlement, Texas; five stepchildren, six grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren; six nephews, and two great-nieces.
