Armstrong II

Fred (Skip) Armstrong II, 64, passed away May 24, 2012. He was born in Akron, Ohio on October 10,1947 to Fred and Helen Armstrong.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Judy. He leaves Sissy (Jan); sons, Chase (David), Scott (Carrie) and Chad; sister, Janice (Andy) McLeod; grandchildren, Tristan and Alexis; nieces, Judy, Jill, Jessica, Stacey, Heather and nephew, Wayne; life-long friend Jerry Howley and special brothers-in-law, Richard and Paul Kissner; many, many friends from Portage Lakes to Lake Erie, the Wells Township Sportsmen Club and his beloved Rottweiler, Buddy.

He graduated from The University of Akron, retired from Consolidated Freightway and served in the U. S. Marine Corp. He loved his family and friends, the great outdoors, the lakes, his boat "Thinkin' about it", and , of course, fishing.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29 at 11 a.m. at House of Eberhardt Funeral Home, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rt. 619). Interment at East Liberty Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Monday, May 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
