George R. Burgoon Obituary
George R. Burgoon, 87, went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2013.

He was born January 9, 1926 in Greensburg, Ohio to the late George G. and Mary Burgoon and was preceded in death by his brothers, Earl, Dick, and Don, and sister, Mary Reuschman.

He served in the U.S. Marines in the Pacific Theater during World War II and retired from B.F. Goodrich after 41 ½ years of service. He attended Grace Church – Norton Campus.

George is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jean; daughters, Rebecca and Kay; son, Lawrence (Denise); grandchildren, Kathryn and Kenneth.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at Grace Church – Norton Campus, 3970 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Norton, OH 44203 on Monday, at 11 a.m., with one calling hour prior to the service, Pastor Bob Combs officiating. Interment at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Church – Norton Campus, in memory of George.
