Glendon C. Nitz

WADSWORTH -- Glendon C. Nitz, 65, went home to be with the Lord May 13, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones.

Glen was born July 28, 1951 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Greela and Opal (nee Starcher) Nitz.

Glen proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He loved to play golf and enjoyed the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cody Dunning and brothers, Robert, Allen and Gene.

He is survived by his first love and mother of his children, Lynn Burnley; children, Brian (Michelle) Nitz and Kellie (Daniel) Dunning; grandchildren, Kyrsten Nitz and Ashley Dunning; siblings, Don, John, Richard Nitz, Carol Travis and Norma Kirtley; and his dog Snoopy.

The family will receive friends 11:30 to 12:30 Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 at Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
