Irene A. Ambrose
Irene A. Ambrose, 74, of East Summit Street, Kent, died Thurs day, May 8, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1928, in Gardner, Mass., to Edward and Eva (Paquette) Kirby. She was an as sembly line worker for the GE Lamp Plant in Ravenna, and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna M. (Christopher) Walker of Stow; son-in-law, Curtiss L. Wegman of Ravenna; grandchildren, Greg (Patty) Allen, Vickie Allen, and Nicole Walker; nieces, Carol Williams and Janice Stewart. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda L. Wegman, in 2002; broth er, Paul Kirby; and sister, Terry Nutting.
Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent is handling the arrangements. Memo rials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1900 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44313-6927.
