Jean E. (Miller) Agin Obituary

Jean Agin, 85, passed away on September 18, 2010 in Hospice Care at the Village of St. Edwards.

Jean was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Martha and Edward Miller.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth G. Agin. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Dunda of St. Louis, Missouri; her daughter, Cherie (Robert) Elliott of Naperville, Illinois; her son, Keith (Sharon Barasch) Agin of Cincinnati, Ohio; her four grandchildren, Keith (Alisa) Agin, Anthony (Emily) Agin, Kent Elliott, Christopher (Holly) Elliott. She also leaves two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Kayleigh Agin and two great-grandsons, Matthew and William Elliott. Jean was proud of her family and their accomplishments.

Jean was an active member of Holy Family Parish in Stow serving on numerous committees. She took pleasure in her many years of volunteering at Children's Hospital, enjoyed delivering Mobile Meals and attending Red Hat functions. An avid tennis player and golfer Jean loved volunteering at area Golf Tournaments. Her 9x12 Club lunches were a highlight each month. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends.

The family also wishes to express its gratitude to Leslie Conklin, who provided loving care and friendship to Jean.

A memorial mass will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, (3179 Kent Rd. Stow, Ohio). A private family burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walsh Jesuit High School, 4550 Wyoga Lake Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44224.
