He was my classmate from first grade on and I remember him as a sweet, cute, sensitive guy. In high school, he had such a love for the school and showed that spirit in so many ways. I am not surprised that he went on to be such an accomplished individual. My prayers are with his family as you deal with his death. It is truly bittersweet as he is no longer hurting, but you are left with the pain of his loss. He was a truly gentle person, even as a little boy, and I am glad he was a part of my youth.
