Kerry A. Nash Obituary
Kerry A. Nash, 47, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 4, 2013 after collapsing into a diabetic coma at her home in Akron, Ohio.

She was born on April 27, 1965 in Akron, Ohio to James L. and Camilla Nash. She was the youngest of three children. She was raised in Akron and graduated from Buchtel High in 1983. She attended Fashion Design School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was an excellent designer and seamstress, but decided not to pursue this field as a career.

She lived in Atlanta, Ga. for 12 years where she met Alexi Henry, and their union produced a beautiful daughter, Kaliah Nash.

She returned to Akron and worked for the Info Cision Company for eight years. She was working toward a degree in Medical Administration. Brown Mackie was one of the colleges she attended. She was a beautiful, intelligent, and talented young woman.

She was preceded in death by aunt, Betty Jones of Akron, Ohio and nephew, Reggie Garnett of Detroit, Mich. She will be greatly missed by father and stepmother, James L. and Charlene Nash of Akron, Ohio; mother, Camilla "Pamela Lake" of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Karla Adesokum and Karen Nash of Akron, Ohio; daughter, Kaliah Nash of Columbus, Ohio; niece, Alana Nash; nephew, Rodney Nash; aunt and uncle, Ruby and Robert Garnett; uncles, Edgar Nash and Tom Jones, all of Akron, Ohio; and a host of cousins and friends.

Service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Rev. Joseph H. Harkless officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form at the funeral home and condolences may be sent to 1271 Dover Ave., Akron, OH 44320.
