Lauren Gill Obituary
Born in Anaheim, California, she had lived in Canton most of her life. Lauren was a 2006 graduate of Heritage Christian High School and graduated Valedictorian of her class in 2010 from Columbia College in Chicago. She was employed at Dilliard's. Survived by her father, Jeffrey Gill and his wife, Tina of Canton; mother, Christina Limpus of Murrieta, California; two sisters, Eva and Jessica Flores of Murrieta, California; grandparents, Robert and Jacqueline Gill of Canton and Lorraine Marie Vargas of Riverside, California; many aunts and uncles including Robert and Lesa Gill of Canton; and numerous cousins including Jackie Gill whom she lived with and Chris and Alexis deBoschnek. Preceded in death by her grandfather, Emet Delgadillo.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Faith Community Church in Canton with Pastor Elden Smith officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gentle Shepherd Counseling Center, 1469 South Main St., North Canton, Ohio 44720. Condolences may be made to: www.lamiellfuneralhome.com

I didn't know Lauren well. But I find myself thinking of her often. She had a get together at her house off of Cleveland Ave one night. That's how I met her. She didn't know me but welcomed me and even let me wear one of her bathing suits because I didn't have my own. She was so beautiful and one of the nicest people I've ever met.
It's a tragedy what happened to her. I just wanted to write and say to her family that even though I only met her a handful of times, she definitely made an impact on me. She made me realize not to judge a book by it's cover.
She was lovely.

There is not a day that goes by, where I don't remember Lauren in my thoughts. We have her picture in the office. It is still very sad to me. As a mother of 3 beautiful girls, I can't imagine the pain of the loss. May Jesus continue to comfort you and His grace sustain you.

Miss you Lauren. Wish life didn't have to be so painful. You're on my mind, even years later. You're a beautiful person and I may have only been an acquaintance of yours in college, but you made me laugh and not many people can do that. Michele and I are so deeply sorry for your loss. At the funeral yesterday Dallas preached an amazing sermon about Lauren that was just so spot on that only God himself could have inspired him to say the words and scriptures that he quoted. It was such a blessing to know Lauren and I'm so thankful our paths crossed. She was a energetic, loving, hard working, beautiful young lady and it breaks my heart to know she is longer here with us. My beautiful cousin.. I will never forget all of our amazing memories growing up.. Our trip to France, our special olympics that we all put on for Grandma and Grandpa. You would always eat a tomato for me bc I hated the taste of them .. Catching crabs on the beach in Cape Cod, and many more memories that will live in my heart for the rest of my life.. I sat next to Lauren in Art History,and lived in the same dorm; we used to joke and laugh. We worked together on a shoot and had plans for others. I regret not getting to spend more time with her.
