Lutitia Jackson Obituary
Lutitia Jackson, born on May 10, 1940, to the late Willie and Daisy Biddings, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2012. Lutitia, affectionately known as "Luti," accepted Christ at an early age and was a lifetime member of Mt. Haven Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir and was President of the Outreach Ministry. Lutitia was a receptionist, and taught arts and crafts in many area businesses. She loved bowling and working with children. She was extremely gifted in working with crafts; in which many ceramic items are still in homes today.

She was preceded in death by husband of 40 years, Arthur Jackson; brother, Willie J. Biddings, Jr.; sisters, Geraldine McBeth, Ruby Jean Johnson, and Tiny Biddings. Lutitia leaves to cherish her memory, children, Dawn (Anthony) Lockett, Charmin Turner, Mark (Sherry) Jackson; brother, David (Thelma) Biddings; sisters, Deloris Davis, Marcha Parks; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hickory Ridge Nursing and Rehab Care Center for the love and care you provided to our loved one.

Funeral service will be held TODAY, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 12 p.m. at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 West Thornton Street, Akron, Ohio 44307, with Bishop Marc L. Neal officiating. Burial at Glendale Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 1045 Cadillac Blvd., Akron, Ohio 44320.
