WADSWORTH -- Madelyn Jean Brinkley was born October 19, 1932 in Parkersburg, W. Va., and lived most of her life in Akron. She also resided in Las Vegas, Arizona and California. She was a LPN for over 30 years, had a passion for travel and she loved adventure.
She entered into her heavenly home October 15, 2013 surrounded by her four children, David (Dianne) Brinkley, Ken (Beth) Brinkley, Kellie (Bob) John and Samie (Steve) Lebastchi. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She loved without condition and taught us all to do the same. She showed us class and grace. She was fun and we will miss her greatly.
Friends may call at Cox Funeral Home located at 1376 High St., Wadsworth, OH 44281, Thursday, October 17th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Service will also be at Cox on Friday, Oct. 18th at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Jim Singleton officiating. Interment immediately following at Hillside in Ellet.
