BARBERTON -- Nicholas Lee Kaiser, 48, of Barberton, passed away November 18, 2012 surrounded by his family. He joined his mother, Patricia Kaiser, as our angel.
Nick was a 1982 graduate of Barberton High School and was an incredible baseball pitcher, first baseman, and drummer. He was a man of many loves including sports, music, muscle cars, cooking, and the beach.
Nick had a lot of love to give to his family and friends. We will always remember the "old" Nick with his beautiful smile, piercing blue eyes, and the abundance of love in his heart.
Nick was loved by all and will be missed by his father, Robert Kaiser of Barberton; daughter, Kaitlin Kaiser of Barberton; son, Nicholas Kaiser of Barberton; sisters, Christine (Jim) Centea of Farmdale, Ohio, and Mary (Chester) Howard of Wadsworth; his nieces, Alexa Conley, Catherine Centea, and Lauren Conley, who will miss the many hours of video games and cooking secret snacks with Uncle Nick. "Poppy" will also be missed by his granddaughters, Kadence and Kenadie whom he adored.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Silva Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Road West, Barberton, from 5 to 7 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow. Private burial will take place. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Summa.
