Olga Bueker, age 87, passed away March 15, 2014 with her family by her side.
She was born November 10, 1926 in Pittsburg, Pa. She lived in Barberton most of her life.
A 1944 graduate of Barberton High school. Olga retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 26 years of service. She volunteered in the gift shop at Pleasant View Nursing Home.
Olga and Joe enjoyed traveling and were avid Barberton magic sports fans. Olga was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her sister, Nellie; and her husband, George Smith.
She is survived by Joseph, her loving and devoted husband of 64 years; sons, Dr. Mark (Carla) Bueker of North Carolina, Dennis (Diane Momchilov) Bueker; grandchildren, Lauren (Eddie) Romero, Michael, Devin; daughter-in-law, Diane Totaro; and devoted neighbors and friends.
The family would like to thank Barberton Home Helpers, Summa care hospice nurses and the Inn at CoalRidge.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 18 at Cox Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Deacon Robin Adair will be officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers ,memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation, Northeast Ohio Region, 6060 Rockside Woods Blvd., suite 315, Independence, Ohio 44131.
