Regan C. Allen

Regan C. Allen, 37, of Sweetbriar Drive, Suffield, died Sun day, Oct. 26, 2003.

He was born Nov. 23, 1965, in Ra venna, to Richard and Particia (Mar tin) Allen. He was a lifelong resident of Portage County, hav ing graduated from Windham High School. He served six years in the U.S. Army, and had worked for Step 2 for 13 years. He worked in the shipping department of The Press of Ohio for the past year. He also was a part-time delivery person for the Akron Beacon Journal in the Goodyear Heights area of Akron.

Survivors include his wife, Tina (Mills), whom he married July 22, 1995; sons, Devin Al len and Regan Allen Jr., both of Suffield; daughter, Miranda Allen of Ravenna; father, Richard of Akron; brothers, Richard (Drew) of Iowa, Robert (Pam) of Rootstown, Randy of Kentucky, Russell of Cleveland, Ray (Donna) of Stow, Reade (Kim) of Kent, and Ryan (Shanda) of Cuyahoga Falls; and sisters, Cindy (Gary) Ohler of Cuyahoga Falls, Pamela (Elliott) Bennett of Kent, Dawn (Eric) Slicker of Kentucky, and Lisette (Peter) Tuohy of California. He was pre ceded in death by his mother in 1986.

Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Earl F. Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. Memorials may be made to the Regan C. Allen Memorial Fund, c/o any FirstMerit Branch.
