Robert A. Clark Obituary
Robert A. Clark, age 65, of Malvern, died at home Friday, March 8th, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born September 17, 1947 in Akron to the late Justin and Jane (Wagner) Clark. He was a maintenance supervisor for Goodyear Aerospace retiring after 40 years. He was a member of the Malvern United Methodist Church and the Carroll County Chorale. Bob was never a man of many words, but you didn't have to be around him long to sense the love he had for his wife, children and grandchildren. He felt so blessed to finally have these four beautiful grandchildren. Bob loved playing cards, his church, the choir and the musical events he participated in. He has been an inspiration to everyone with his strong faith during his long illness. Bob truly showed grace and dignity without one complaint as he awaited the Lord to come to take him on his final journey. We will always love and miss him.

He is survived by his wife, Ava (Phillips) Clark whom he married April 24, 1976; daughter, Robyn (Matthew) Sprague of Malvern; son, Scott (Jennifer) Clark of Brunswick; brother, Ronald (Rebecca) Clark of North Canton; four grandchildren, Regan Clark, Levi Clark, Aiden Sprague and Avery Sprague. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Clark.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Malvern United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Hill officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Tuesday. 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the Malvern United Methodist Church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
