Roger Prince
WADSWORTH -- Roger Prince, 82, of Wadsworth, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018.
He was born May 11, 1935 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Floyd and Martha Prince. Mr. Prince was a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1953, was a self employed graphic designer, artist and owner of Roger Prince Design. Roger was one of the most influential friends in my life. We worked together at Morgan Studio, and he helped shape my tastes, my art, my life....I hope he is enjoying his new space.

My condolences to Roger's family and friends. I have fond memories of Roger. When I was a child, my Uncle Ray Smith used to run me around with him and would often see Roger. He was witty, always kind to me, and took the time to listen to me. One of my favorite impressions was his version of my Aunt Olive, we would laugh and laugh, he did it perfectly! I also remember a dog he had named Stash. I asked him why his name was Stash and he said Because when I give him a bone, he stashes it followed by an example where he threw his dog a bone and he immediately stashed it under a pillow on his couch. Any friend of my Uncle Ray was a friend of mine!

We lived next to Roger in the 1960's and 1970's when he built his A-shaped house on Akron Road (route 261). My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Dear Rick and Family,
I am so sad to hear of Rogers passing. Roger was a dear friend and there was always so much to appreciate, enjoy, and love about him. He found such pleasure in living and everything he did, he did with such art and grace. He appreciated everything, from the joy and delight that characterized his friendships, to his keen interest in music, art, history, and politics. He was a shrewd judge of character and intellect. His sense of humor and his mimicry was always flawless. He appreciated nature whether taking a daily walk or nurturing his plants on his beautifully designed and planned balcony. Everything that Roger did, he did with tremendous style and beauty. Roger was gentle and kind to all.

I'll miss your emails, Rog. They were always so insightful, humorous, your play on words. When did we meet? 1960 or 1961? So long ago. You were a breath of fresh air, my friend.
Sending our best to all of Roger's loved ones.
